Hyundai unveils design teaser for 2027 i20 model

Hyundai released a teaser image of its upcoming 2027 i20 compact car. The visual shows a slimmer LED light strip across the front grille, Y‑shaped daytime running lights and a more upright, crossover‑inspired silhouette. Rear lighting features a boomerang‑shaped LED unit, while the overall design appears sharper and more aggressive than previous versions.

The Brazilian division announced that production of the new i20 will begin ahead of the 2027 launch, coinciding with the rollout of the brand’s upcoming electric IONIQ 3. Early reports suggest that the model will retain the existing 1.2‑litre, 88 hp gasoline engine, paired with updated digital instrument displays and advanced driver‑assist features.
