Hyundai unveils Tucson and Palisade Hybrid SUVs in Vietnam with pricing details
On 18 July, Hyundai Thành Công Vietnam showcased its new Tucson Hybrid and Palisade Hybrid SUVs at Tràng Tiền Plaza in Hanoi. Hundreds of visitors examined the vehicles, noting the Tucson’s unchanged exterior design and the Palisade’s larger, European‑inspired styling. Customers praised the Palisade’s appearance but remarked on the many electronic buttons on the seats.
Hyundai announced that the Tucson Hybrid is expected to retail for under 1 billion Vietnamese đồng (approximately 999 million VND), while the larger Palisade Hybrid is projected at 1.5‑1.7 billion VND, potentially approaching 2 billion VND. The Palisade will offer three trim levels, a hybrid drivetrain delivering up to 334 hp and 460 Nm of torque, whereas the Tucson’s hybrid powertrain combines a 1.6‑litre engine with an electric motor for a total output of about 232 hp and 367 Nm. The Palisade is slated for launch in September, with the Tucson expected in October.
