Hyundai unveils XRT PRO off-road SUV trims for Tucson and Palisade

Hyundai Motor Company has introduced the XRT PRO trim, a specialized off-road variant for its SUV lineup, featuring enhanced hardware for rugged terrain.

The Tucson XRT PRO is designed for outdoor activities with a ground clearance of 210mm, which is 30mm higher than the standard model. It includes all-terrain tires, four-wheel drive, and a new ‘Smart Terrain Assist’ system that analyzes terrain difficulty and provides a ‘stuck score’ to assist drivers. Additionally, the Tucson XRT PRO hybrid model offers an increased towing capacity of 1,361kg.

Separately, a North American version of the Palisade XRT PRO was recently spotted on South Korean roads. Unlike the standard XRT trim available in Korea, which focuses on aesthetics, the PRO version features functional off-road upgrades including a 213mm ground clearance, an electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD), and HTRAC four-wheel drive. The Palisade XRT PRO is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine producing 287 horsepower.
