I Am in the Factory launches third season on PTS

The documentary series ‘I Am in the Factory’ is launching its third season on the Public Television Service (PTS) platforms. The new season features 16 episodes and 30 units, focusing on the lives and crafts of various professionals in Taiwan.

Featured stories include the preservation of traditional arts, such as the craftsmanship of divine palanquins by Chen Chiu-lin, a master woodworker from Lukang who teaches mortise and tenon structures to prevent the craft from disappearing. The season also highlights Taiwanese Opera performer Sun Shih-ying, who continues her family's legacy, and wildlife veterinarian Kuo Yu-te, who focuses on the rehabilitation and release of wild animals.

Other topics covered in the premiere month include drum making, circus arts, and the culinary worlds of both traditional banquet feasts and Michelin-starred dining.
