I-Pairs adds offline retargeting to n-Links Retarget software
I-Pairs Co., Ltd. has announced an update to its motion capture correction software, n-Links Retarget, introducing an offline retargeting feature for FBX and BVH animation files. This update allows users to perform retargeting processes without the need for active motion capture software, enabling the reuse of past BVH motions or the application of existing FBX motion data to new character models.
The offline retargeting function is available in both the Business and Enterprise plans. Additionally, the recording function, which allows users to export retargeted and corrected motions as FBX files, has been expanded from the Enterprise plan to include the Business plan. This feature supports saving SpringBone physics for VRM models and is compatible with major 3D software including Unreal Engine, Unity, Maya, and MotionBuilder.
n-Links Retarget is designed for high-speed processing up to 120 fps, making it suitable for real-time virtual character streaming and content production workflows.
