The biographical film ‘I PLAY ROCKY’ has released its German trailer. Directed by Oscar winner Peter Farrelly and written by Peter Gamble, the film is scheduled for theatrical release on November 26, 2026, distributed by LEONINE Studios.

The biopic tells the true story behind the creation of the 1976 classic ‘Rocky’. It focuses on a then-unknown Sylvester Stallone, portrayed by Anthony Ippolito, who wrote the screenplay in just three and a half days and insisted on playing the lead role of Rocky Balboa despite significant obstacles.

The film features Matt Dillon as Frank Stallone Sr., Stephan James as Carl Weathers, and AnnaSophia Robb. ‘I PLAY ROCKY’ is set to have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
