i-PRO to release compact head-separated AI camera in December

i-PRO has announced the December release of a new head-separated AI network camera designed for narrow spaces and environments where aesthetics are a priority. The system separates the camera head from the main AI processing unit, allowing the camera head to be as small as 25.5 mm in diameter.

In manufacturing settings, the compact heads can be integrated into machinery to monitor production processes, assist in quality control, and help identify the causes of equipment failures. The 2.4 mm focal length model supports close-up photography from a minimum distance of 20 cm, which is useful for monitoring manual tasks in cell production to ensure procedural compliance and facilitate skill transfer. The hardware is designed to meet vibration resistance standards (EN 61373:2010 and JIS E 4031:2013).

For commercial spaces such as museums, hotels, and retail stores, the camera offers ceiling-mounted installation options in black or white to maintain interior design integrity. The system features high-level security, including secure boot, firmware with third-party electronic certificates, and FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified secure elements to prevent unauthorized access and data tampering.
