Ia Pa Police Help Woman Stranded at Nội Bài Airport
A 1996‑born woman from Ia Pa, Gia Lai province, who had worked as a migrant laborer in Saudi Arabia, returned to Vietnam without funds. On July 24, 2026, she was forced to remain at Hanoi’s Nội Bài International Airport for three days because she could not afford transportation home.
After she called the Ia Pa police for assistance, the local police quickly coordinated with airport security, verified her situation, and organized financial help. Officers from Ia Pa raised 3.6 million VND, and airport staff contributed an additional 1 million VND, enabling her to purchase a ticket and return to her hometown on July 27, 2026. The police also visited her family to offer further support and monitor her wellbeing.
