IACCO medical institute reaches construction milestone in Fontana

The construction of the Instituto de Alta Complejidad Cardiológico y Oncológico (IACCO) in Fontana has reached a significant milestone with the completion of its first stage. The project has successfully finished the installation of 560 piles, despite facing various weather difficulties.

With the completion of the piling phase, the project is now transitioning into the next critical stage: the construction of the elevation structure. The initiative is being driven exclusively through private, corporate, and individual contributions via the Fundación Los Dinosaurios.

Project founder Rubén “Coco” Ruffino and Fontana Mayor Fernando Cuadra expressed optimism regarding the progress. The ambitious goal for the project is to have the medical facility fully completed and operational by the end of 2027, aiming to improve healthcare access for the residents of the Chaco province.
