Iafas to undergo structural repairs at Paraná headquarters

The Government of Entre Ríos has initiated the bidding process for structural repairs at the headquarters of the Instituto de Ayuda Financiera a la Acción Social (Iafas) in Paraná. The project aims to address cracks and fissures in walls and floors, as well as differential settlement in the building's front block.

Technical assessments revealed that the issues stem from soil conditions, specifically soft ground and water saturation up to four meters deep. As a preventive measure, the affected sector is currently unoccupied. The project will be financed by Iafas and is expected to take 365 days to complete. Ingeniero Quaranta S.A. has been identified as a bidding firm. The works will be overseen by the Ministry of Planning and Infrastructure through its General Directorate of Architecture and Construction.
