IAG Cargo expands pharmaceutical network with Kuala Lumpur station

IAG Cargo has expanded its pharmaceutical logistics network by adding a new Constant Climate station at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. This GDP-certified facility is designed to handle temperature-sensitive shipments, including vaccines, biotech products, and diagnostic samples, using both active and passive temperature-control methods.

The new station is supported by a daily service between London Heathrow and Kuala Lumpur. This schedule is intended to facilitate same-day connections to other stations within IAG Cargo’s global network. The expansion increases the company’s presence in Southeast Asia and brings its total number of Constant Climate-approved stations to approximately 100 worldwide, with 13 located across the Asia-Pacific region.

In addition to the Kuala Lumpur expansion, IAG Cargo continues to utilize its London Heathrow hub to provide third-party handling services for MASkargo, ensuring dedicated temperature-controlled handling for pharmaceutical cargo moving through the hub.
