Iago Borduchi Loaned from Bahia to Internacional Until Year‑End

Brazilian left‑back Iago Borduchi is set to return to Sport Club Internacional on a loan that runs through the end of the 2026 season. The deal, agreed between Bahia and Internacional, will see the player's salary fully paid by the Colorado. Borduchi, 29, struggled for playing time at Bahia after the return of Luciano Juba and the rise of youngster Zé Guilherme, prompting the club to seek a move.

The defender previously spent seven years with Internacional (2017‑2019) before moving to Europe and later joining Bahia in 2024. He logged 80 appearances for the Colorado, scoring two goals and providing two assists, while his recent form at Bahia has been modest – 11 matches this season with one goal and one assist. Both clubs are hoping the loan will give Borduchi more minutes and bolster Internacional’s squad as they battle a precarious position near the bottom of the Brasileirão table.
