Iași Botanical Garden celebrates 50th Autumn Flowers exhibition

The Anastasie Fătu Botanical Garden at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iași is hosting the 50th edition of its “Autumn Flowers” exhibition. Running from October 30 to November 22, 2026, the event marks a half-century tradition that began in 1976.

Visitors can view collections of chrysanthemums, ornamental cabbage, decorative peppers, and pumpkins, as well as various fruits and seeds from both indigenous and exotic species. The exhibition, located within the greenhouse complex and the Ornamental, Biological, and Phytogeographical sections, also features topiary zooforms created from natural materials. All displays are arranged by botanical garden staff using plants grown in the institution's experimental fields, greenhouses, and solariums.
