Ian Hill to miss Judas Priest London concert due to injury

Judas Priest bassist and co-founder Ian Hill will miss the band’s concert at London’s Eventim Apollo on September 21 due to a serious injury. The band announced that Hill has sustained a badly damaged tendon in his left arm, preventing him from performing.

This marks a historic moment for the group, as Hill has reportedly never missed a Judas Priest show during his career. Davey Rimmer of Uriah Heep will step in as the temporary replacement for the bass position to ensure the tour's final date proceeds as scheduled. Hill, 74, remains the sole original member of the band.
