Ian Ângelo signs first professional contract with Atlético-MG
Ian Ângelo, the 18-year-old son of Atlético-MG star Hulk, has signed his first professional contract with the club. The agreement, which lasts for two and a half years, was officially registered in the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) Daily Information Bulletin on Thursday.
Ângelo has been with the club since January and currently plays for the under-20 squad. He made his debut in March during a 3-2 victory over Itabirito in the Campeonato Mineiro Sub-20. To date, he has appeared in eight matches for the club, all in the Campeonato Mineiro, scoring three goals.
Ângelo is not the only son of the veteran striker at the club; his younger brother, Thiago Ângelo, is currently part of the Atlético-MG under-15 category.
