Trapper Ian detained after urinating on stage in Bucharest

Romanian trapper Ian (Anghel Bogdan Georgian) has been detained for 24 hours following an incident at the Arenele Romane in Bucharest. During a concert on October 2, 2026, featuring the artist and Azteca, Ian was filmed by spectators urinating on the stage in front of the audience.

The Bucharest Police (Secția 14) initiated an investigation ex officio after video footage of the act went viral on social media platforms like TikTok. Authorities stated the behavior is suspected of constituting the crime of “outrage against public morals.”

Following hearings and the administration of evidence, the artist was detained for 24 hours and reportedly fined. The investigation is being conducted under the supervision of a prosecutor from the Bucharest Sector 4 Court. The incident has drawn criticism from other musical artists, including Tzancă Uraganu and Jador, who condemned the act due to the presence of young fans at the event.
