Ianis Doană scores four goals for Poli Timișoara

Eighteen-year-old footballer Ianis Doană has made headlines after scoring four goals in a single match for Poli Timișoara during a 5-1 victory against Concordia Chiajna in Liga 2.

Doană, who was recently released on a free transfer by Dinamo București, addressed his brief tenure with the club. He stated that he does not regret the decision to leave, noting that his current focus is entirely on Poli Timișoara and helping the team achieve promotion to the first division.

Reports indicate that Doană was allowed to leave Dinamo because he was not part of coach Nuno Campos's plans for significant playing time. While Dinamo released him for free, the club reportedly retained a percentage of any future transfer fee. Doană credited his rapid adaptation at Timișoara to his teammates, the club leadership, and the guidance of coach Dan Alexa.
