Ianis Doană joins Politehnica Timișoara as Dinamo signs teen defender Darius Ciuleanu

Romanian 18‑year‑old midfielder Ianis Doană, a product of CSM Reșița who previously played for CSA Steaua and spent the last season on loan at Dinamo, has signed for Politehnica Timișoara. The transfer, reported by GSP.ro, includes a formation clause of around €25,000 and gives Dinamo a buy‑back option. Doană, who has 53 Liga 2 appearances with five goals, said, “I am happy to be back in Banat and want to help the team achieve promotion to the first league.” Politehnica’s director general Dinu Bara praised the 18‑year‑old as “a talent with the character needed for the project.”

In a separate move, Dinamo announced the signing of 17‑year‑old central defender Darius Ciuleanu. Ciuleanu, a Romanian U‑16 international and 2024 U‑15 champion with FCSB, spent the 2025‑2026 season at German side Energie Cottbus before returning to sign his first professional contract with Dinamo. The club highlighted his physical strength, tactical intelligence and potential to become a regular in the senior squad.
