Ianos launches Amfivios civilian dive watch

Greek watch brand Ianos has launched the Amfivios, a civilian dive watch derived from the Ianos OYK, which was originally developed for members of Greece’s elite Underwater Demolition Command (OYK).

The Amfivios features a 41mm Grade 2 titanium monobloc case with a bead-blasted finish to reduce reflections. It is designed for durability and corrosion resistance in marine environments, offering 300 meters of water resistance. The watch includes a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal, a unidirectional titanium rotating bezel with 120 positions, and a screw-down crown.

Internally, the timepiece is powered by a Sellita SW360 automatic movement, providing a power reserve of approximately 56 hours. The design maintains the functional architecture of its military predecessor, such as the compact build and specific strap integration, but removes military-exclusive markings and color schemes for a broader consumer market.
