IAPV holds housing bidding process in San José de Feliciano

The Instituto Autárquico de Planeamiento y Vivienda (IAPV) conducted a new bidding process for direct access to housing in San José de Feliciano. The event, held at the Salón del Bicentenario, involved the auctioning of 13 out of 22 newly constructed homes, representing 60 percent of the total units.

Participants were required to submit economic offers of at least 10 percent of the property value. A total of 21 offers were received, amounting to more than 259 million pesos. Authorities will evaluate these proposals based on the social conditions of the bidders and their current property ownership status to determine the final adjudications.

This bidding model serves as an alternative to the traditional lottery system. Any housing units not awarded through this economic offer process will be distributed via lottery among applicants listed in the official registry of authorized candidates.
