Iara Vilela pledges to continue social programs in Goiás

Iara Vilela, the First Lady of Goiás, has pledged to maintain the continuity of social programs previously implemented by Gracinha Caiado. Speaking in Goiânia, Vilela emphasized her commitment to advancing new social actions to reach more citizens during the next administration.

The announcement took place during an event officializing José Mário Schreiner as the general coordinator for Governor Daniel Vilela’s reelection campaign. Vilela addressed political criticisms regarding the use of government social actions for political promotion, stating that the results achieved are a product of dedication rather than electoral strategy.

Gracinha Caiado has also expressed support for the continuity of these initiatives, specifically mentioning the 'Goiás Social' program and infrastructure developments such as highway construction, as essential components for the state's management.
