Iasi and Botosani malls host free family weekend events

Iulius Mall in Iasi organized a two‑day family weekend on 4‑5 July. Saturday featured a K‑Pop‑inspired BOO Party with dance routines, games, face painting and glitter tattoos. Sunday offered a free shell‑making workshop for children, limited to 50 participants, alongside the mall’s Summer Sale with discounts up to 80 %.

At Uvertura Mall in Botosani, the weekend began with the opening of the "Colecționarul de amintiri" exhibition at the Colecția de artă of the Ștefan Luchian Galleries. Parallel children’s workshops titled "In vacation around Europe" ran on Saturday mornings, providing creative activities linked to European countries, with passports and stamp‑collecting games. The mall also hosted a soft‑rock concert by local singer Robert Condraschi and a schedule of family‑friendly film screenings at nearby cinemas.

Both malls offered free admission to the children's activities and promoted additional attractions such as concerts, cinema programs and special retail discounts.
