IB educators convene in Hyderabad for IB Manthan 2026

Over 200 educators and school leaders from the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme gathered in Hyderabad, India, for IB Manthan 2026. Held at the Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad, the one-day forum focused on the theme ‘Learning Beyond Boundaries: Education for an Interconnected World’.

Participants engaged in professional dialogue regarding student agency, assessment, inclusion, and leadership. Olli-Pekka Heinonen, Director General of the International Baccalaureate, noted the increasing interest in IB programmes within India, highlighting how the curriculum combines academic rigour with critical thinking to prepare students for a rapidly changing global landscape.
