Ibanez launches 7-string multi-scale Iceman guitar
Ibanez has introduced the ICMS721, a 7-string multi-scale version of its iconic Iceman guitar, developed by the Ibanez Axe Design Lab. Designed for modern metal players utilizing low tunings, the instrument features a multi-scale fretboard that ranges from 25.5 inches on the treble side to 27.2 inches on the low B string to improve intonation and tension.
The guitar is constructed with a lightweight okoume body and a five-piece maple and walnut Wizard II-7 neck. It is equipped with multi-voiced Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers and a Mono-Rail G2 bridge. The model is available in an Iron Pewter finish and includes a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with jumbo frets.
Additionally, Ibanez has updated several flagship signature models for artists including Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and Nita Strauss.
