Ibb leaders discuss military readiness for national liberation in Yemen

Local authority and military leaders in Yemen’s Ibb Governorate held a meeting to assess recent military developments across various national fronts. The officials discussed readiness for a comprehensive national liberation operation aimed at reclaiming remaining provinces from Houthi militia control.

Participants, including Governor Abdulwahab al-Waili and several military commanders, emphasized the need to accelerate liberation efforts to alleviate humanitarian suffering and end ongoing violations in Houthi-controlled areas. The leaders noted that recent Houthi losses in personnel and equipment have led to increased military escalation and attacks on civilian infrastructure.

The meeting concluded with praise for the political and military leadership, supported by the Saudi-led coalition, for stabilizing economic and security conditions in liberated areas. A call was issued to all national forces to unite behind the armed forces and resistance to achieve full territorial liberation.
