IBC 2026 to showcase AI video analytics and media workflows

The IBC Show is returning to the RAI Amsterdam from September 11–14, 2026, serving as a gathering point for the global media, entertainment, and technology sectors to explore emerging industry trends.

Collabora will showcase various open-source technologies at the event, including AI-driven attention detection via GStreamer Analytics and real-time sports analysis. Their demonstrations will also feature ElectricMaple, a project designed to enhance standalone XR experiences through remote rendering, and an augmented reality magic mirror powered by AMD Ryzen AI Halo for virtual clothing swaps.

Grass Valley plans to demonstrate story-centric newsroom workflows using its AMPP media supply chain portfolio. This end-to-end workflow aims to connect newsroom production, content management, and distribution. By using the story as the primary organizing principle rather than individual assets, the system allows editorial decisions to drive asset management and automated packaging for linear, streaming, and social platforms.
