Iberdrola | bp pulse expands electric charging network in Spain and Portugal

Iberdrola | bp pulse is expanding its electric vehicle charging infrastructure through new strategic partnerships in the Iberian Peninsula.

In Spain, an agreement with Disfrimur will double the charging capacity at the Disfrimur logistics base in San Isidro. The expansion also includes new public high-power charging stations in Ribarroja (Valencia) and Plaza (Zaragoza). These stations will utilize Combined Charging System (CCS) technology reaching 600 kW and Megawatt Charging System (MCS) technology exceeding 1,000 kW, allowing heavy transport batteries to recharge from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes.

To improve cross-border mobility, Iberdrola | bp pulse has partnered with Electromaps to facilitate electric driving between Spain and Portugal. This alliance allows Spanish drivers to use the Electromaps application to locate, activate, and pay for charging sessions at Iberdrola | bp pulse stations in Portugal, reducing the need for multiple specialized applications during international travel.
