Iberdrola has launched a new augmented reality (AR) tool designed to facilitate the installation of aerothermal systems in residential homes. The technology aims to address consumer uncertainty regarding the physical space and placement of equipment.
By scanning a QR code on the Iberdrola Clientes website, users can project three-dimensional models of the machinery onto their actual living environment using a mobile device. This allows for a visual assessment of the equipment's dimensions and optimal positioning both indoors and outdoors before any installation begins.
To accommodate various housing types, Iberdrola collaborates with manufacturers to offer specialized solutions, such as indoor units designed to fit under kitchen countertops or monobloc systems. Additionally, the company manages Energy Savings Certificates (CAE) to help reduce installation costs by up to 80% for eligible customers.
