Iberia and Vueling receive top honors at 2026 World Airline Awards

At the 2026 World Airline Awards organized by Skytrax in London, several Spanish airlines received major industry recognitions. Iberia secured the 16th position in the global top 100 airlines ranking and was named the best airline for cabin crew service in Europe. The carrier also ranked second in Europe for cabin crew service and fourth overall in Europe.

Vueling, part of the IAG group, was named the Best Low-Cost Airline in Europe. It also ranked as the third-best low-cost airline globally and holds the 39th position in the overall global top 100 ranking. These awards follow the company's 'Rumbo 2035' strategic roadmap.

In a separate study by Science4Insights using algorithmic reputation monitoring, Iberia and Vueling were identified as leaders in the Spanish air transport sector based on AI-driven evaluations.
