Iberia announces centenary program for 2027

Iberia has unveiled the program of activities to commemorate its centenary in 2027. The airline plans to host a series of institutional, cultural, and corporate events across Spain and Latin America, which serves as one of its primary markets.

President Marco Sansavini announced that the celebrations will honor the more than one billion passengers who have flown with the airline this century, as well as its employees. A major institutional event is scheduled for June 2027 at the La Muñoza hangars.

Key initiatives include a project at Casa de América focused on the historical links between Spain and the Latin American region, and the ‘Generación del 27’ project, which aims to highlight young talent. Additionally, the company revealed a special centenary livery that will be featured on select aircraft.
