Iberia launches first Starlink‑powered Wi‑Fi service on commercial flight

Iberia operated its first Airbus A330‑300 (registration EC‑MAA) equipped with high‑speed Starlink satellite Wi‑Fi on a Madrid‑Barajas to São Paulo‑Guarulhos flight (IB3267). The free service, available to all cabin classes, offers speeds of up to 500 Mbps and provides connectivity from the gate at departure through to arrival.

The rollout follows a strategic agreement signed in November between IAG and SpaceX and is part of Iberia’s “Flight 2030” plan, which includes €6 billion of investments in customer experience, artificial intelligence, fleet renewal and the development of a “Ciudad Iberia” innovation hub.
