IBERO Puebla Rector presents first annual activity report

Alejandro Guevara Sanginés, Rector of IBERO Puebla, presented his first annual activity report, highlighting academic and research advancements under the framework of “head, heart, and hands.”

Key academic achievements include the accreditation of all eligible undergraduate programs and the consolidation of a research ecosystem comprising 57 active projects across nine research groups. These projects focus on areas such as sustainability, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, ethics, and migration. The university also expanded its postgraduate offerings through a framework agreement with the Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation, launching five new programs including specialties in Data Analytics and master's degrees in Data Science and Inclusive Education.

Regarding internationalization, 123 students participated in academic stays across 18 countries, while 90 international students attended the campus. The institution also reported significant scholarship support, with the IBERO Puebla Impulse Educational Fund enabling educational aid to reach 63% of undergraduate students and 80% of postgraduate students.
