IBEX 2026 announces innovation winners and new AI marine platform

The International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) has announced the winners of its 2026 Innovation Awards. Managed by the National Marine Manufacturers Association and judged by Boating Writers International, the program selected 12 winners and three honorable mentions from 100 entries. Awarded categories include boatbuilding methods, electrical systems, propulsion parts, and vessel intelligence.

During the event, SeaSure launched a new marine data intelligence platform designed to address data fragmentation within the industry. The platform utilizes 12 specialized AI agents to centralize vessel-specific information, such as engine data, electrical systems, and navigation, across the entire lifecycle of a boat. The system aims to connect owners, service professionals, and builders by providing a shared intelligence layer for better decision-making.
