Ibex 35 shareholders provide high approval for top executives

Shareholders of companies listed on the Ibex 35 have provided strong support for top executives, with an average approval rate exceeding 90% for the 19 executive chairmen and CEOs whose positions were up for vote.

Specifically, the average support for these 19 leaders reached 96.38%, marking a 3.5 percentage point increase compared to their previous re-elections. CEOs received an average support level of 98.7%, while executive chairmen averaged 94.06%.

Notable individual results include high levels of approval for leaders at companies such as ACS, Amadeus, ArcelorMittal, Cellnex, Colonial, Mapfre, Naturgy, Telefónica, Enagás, Ferrovial, IAG, Iberdrola, Inditex, Indra, Merlin Properties, and Solaria. At Puig, the fashion and beauty group, Marc Puig received 99.93% support for his re-election as executive chairman, while new CEO José Manuel Albesa received 99.97% approval for his appointment.
