Ibirataia launches social and educational initiatives for youth
The municipality of Ibirataia is implementing several social and educational initiatives aimed at supporting children and adolescents. Through the ‘Ibirataia Acolhe’ program, the local government is conducting mobilization efforts to recruit new families for the Foster Family Care Service. This service provides temporary protection for minors who must be removed from their original homes by judicial order, placing them with prepared and monitored families.
Additionally, the AABB Comunidade program has been reopened through a partnership involving the Ibirataia City Hall, Banco do Brasil, the Municipal Secretariat of Education, FENABB, and the Banco do Brasil Foundation. As part of this relaunch, school kits were distributed to students to encourage educational engagement and inclusion. Local officials, including Mayor Sandro Futuca and Education Secretary Caio Pina, emphasized that these investments in education and social protection are vital for the city's future development.
