Ibiza and Formentera hotel price gap narrows to under 9 euros

The price gap between three-star and four-star hotels in Ibiza and Formentera has narrowed significantly. According to IBESTAT indicators, the difference in average daily rates for August 2026 was only 8.8 euros, a sharp decline from the 39.9 euro difference recorded in August 2025.

This convergence is driven by a substantial increase in prices for three-star establishments rather than a decrease in four-star rates. Three-star hotels saw a 15.6% year-on-year increase in their average daily rate, rising from 211.5 euros to 244.5 euros. In contrast, four-star hotels experienced a marginal increase of only 0.75%, moving from 251.4 euros to 253.3 euros.
