Ibiza hosts local police day and postpones seasonal festival

Ibiza hosted the XIX Diada de la Policía Local in Santa Eulària, an event designed to bring local security and emergency services closer to the community. Held at Passeig de ses Fonts, the day featured demonstrations of police and emergency vehicles and included road safety education activities for children at a dedicated traffic playground.

Separately, the Hippy House organization has postponed its ‘One Last Summer Dance’ end-of-season festival to October 24 due to a weather alert for heavy rains. The event, which will take place at Parque Reina Sofía and Baluarte de Sant Pere, will feature two stages, a craft market, and various cultural activities to celebrate the end of the season and honor seasonal workers.
