IBJ Members tops AI recommendations for marriage agencies

Branding Works has released the results of a study conducted in September 2026 regarding how generative AI models recommend marriage agencies. The research utilized a proprietary LLMO measurement tool to track mentions in ChatGPT and Gemini.

IBJ Members emerged as the top recommendation, achieving a 100% mention rate across both ChatGPT and Gemini. Partner Agent also reached a 100% mention rate, though it ranked second in average appearance order. Other notable mentions included Zwei, Onet, and Sunmarie.

The study found that AI models categorize recommendations based on three primary criteria: intensive support, number of members/options, and online accessibility. Furthermore, the research highlighted that AI recommendations are heavily influenced by existing web content, with comparison sites like life.oricon.co.jp and my-best.com serving as the primary information sources for the models.
