IBK Industrial Bank of Korea and Seoul host fintech demo day

IBK Industrial Bank of Korea and the Seoul Metropolitan Government successfully held the ‘2026 Seoul Fintech Week Demo Day’ at the Conrad Seoul in Yeouido. The event, themed ‘Digital Finance Transformation based on AX (AI Transformation),’ aimed to support fintech startups in securing investment and establishing business partnerships within the financial sector.

Eleven fintech companies participated in Investor Relations (IR) sessions to present their technologies and growth strategies. Three companies received major awards: BeringLab won the IBK Special Award for its multilingual AI translation solutions specialized in legal, patent, and financial regulation sectors; BigTech Plus received the Seoul Fintech Innovation Award for its real estate mydata service, ‘HomeQ’; and Korea Deep Learning earned the Popularity Award for its AI solutions in financial document processing and automation.

Award recipients will receive various benefits, including research and development grants, commercialization funds, and opportunities for technical verification through the ‘IBK 1st LAB’ program. The initiative seeks to create a virtuous cycle of innovation by testing startup technologies in real-world financial environments.
