IBM focuses on enterprise AI orchestration and production readiness
IBM is focusing on enterprise AI orchestration and production readiness as key themes for its upcoming TechXchange 2026 conference, scheduled for October 26–29 in Atlanta. The event aims to address the challenges organizations face when moving from AI experimentation to full-scale deployment.
Bruno Aziza, IBM's group vice president of software, data, AI, automation, and security, noted that the market is increasingly hybrid, involving hybrid data, operations, and automation. He emphasized that the primary challenge for businesses is mastering this hybrid complexity rather than trying to eliminate it.
A major concern highlighted is the management of AI agents. As employees use tools to create their own agents, the volume of these agents may outpace manual management capabilities, potentially leading to governance failures. To mitigate this, IBM suggests the need for platforms that provide visibility, oversight, and coordination across existing data, applications, and infrastructure.
