Ibn Zohr University launches National School of Advanced Technologies
Ibn Zohr University has officially launched the pedagogical activities of the National School of Advanced Technologies (ENTA) in Dakhla and Laayoune. This new institution is dedicated to training engineers to meet the evolving technological and economic needs of Morocco’s southern provinces.
University President Nabil Hamina stated that the school is part of a broader strategy to diversify academic offerings and promote territorial justice by bringing specialized higher education closer to students in various regions. The curriculum is designed to combine academic training with practical application and scientific research, focusing on critical sectors such as energy, the blue economy, logistics, digitalization, and advanced technologies.
The establishment of ENTA follows a series of recent expansions by Ibn Zohr University, including new institutions in Guelmim, Biougra, and Agadir. The school aims to produce high-level engineering talent capable of supporting major regional development projects and intends to serve as a platform for academic cooperation with African nations.
