IBPS Sets 2026 Clerk and PO Exam Schedules for Indian Public‑Sector Banks

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released details for the 2026 recruitment exams for clerks and probationary officers (PO) across India's public‑sector banks. The clerk exam will follow a three‑stage process – an online Prelims (100 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes), a Main (155 questions, 200 marks, 120 minutes) and a Language Proficiency Test. Both stages use negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer.

For the PO/Management Trainee recruitment, IBPS confirmed that the Prelims will be held on 22‑23 August 2026 and the Mains on 4 October 2026.
