Ibrahim Adam, former Ghanaian Agriculture Minister, dies

Former Ghanaian Minister of Food and Agriculture, Ibrahim Adam, has passed away at the University of Ghana Medical Centre in Accra while undergoing medical treatment. An animal scientist by profession, Adam held a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Agriculture prior to his career in public service.

He was the husband of veteran Ghanaian actress and filmmaker Selassie Ibrahim. Tributes have begun following his death, including a message from Gifty Mawunya Dumelo, who described the late minister as a “legend” and a “hero.”
