İbrahim Halil Dursun re-elected as Sağlık-Sen Batman chairman

İbrahim Halil Dursun has been re-elected as the chairman of the Sağlık-Sen Batman branch following the union's 6th Ordinary General Assembly. During the election, 145 out of 162 delegates cast their votes, with Dursun receiving all valid votes to secure his position.

In his address, Dursun highlighted the union's growth, noting that membership increased from 1,740 to 2,610 since he took office in November 2022. He emphasized a field-oriented approach to unionism, stating that the leadership aims to practice unionism “not in an office, but in the field” by visiting health facilities and addressing worker issues directly.

The assembly also included discussions regarding the challenges faced by health and social service workers, as well as statements concerning the situations in Gaza and Jerusalem.
