Ibrahim Kosalak Dies in Fishing Accident at Akören Pond, Konya, Turkey

Ibrahim Kosalak, a 39‑year‑old father of three, fell into the Akören pond in Konya's Akören district while trying to retrieve his fishing rod during a family picnic. He drowned before rescuers could reach him and his body was later recovered.

Kosalak's funeral was held in the nearby town of Çumra after the noon prayer, with many locals attending. Authorities used the incident to remind residents to exercise caution near ponds, lakes and other water bodies.
