Ibrahim Maza reaffirms commitment to Algeria national team
Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Ibrahim Maza has reaffirmed his decision to represent the Algerian national team, stating he has “never regretted my decision.” Despite having played for Germany at the youth level, the 20-year-old committed to Algeria in 2024.
Maza has since become a key player for the Algerian squad, earning 21 caps and participating in the 2026 World Cup. He highlighted the experience of playing four matches during the tournament, including a notable match against Argentina and Lionel Messi, which he described as a long-held dream.
