Ibrahim Sangare signs new contract with Nottingham Forest until 2029

Ibrahim Sangare has agreed a new deal with Premier League side Nottingham Forest that runs to the summer of 2029, extending the five‑year contract he originally signed after moving from PSV Eindhoven in September 2023. Since joining, the Ivory Coast midfielder has made 77 appearances for the club, scoring twice in the league and playing a key role in helping Forest avoid relegation and reach the Europa League semi‑finals. Sangare, who featured for Ivory Coast at the World Cup, said he was delighted to sign the extension, thanked the supporters and described the club as a family. Club Football Operations Officer George Syrianos praised Sangare’s on‑field impact and off‑field professionalism, while head coach Oliver Glasner is expected to continue to rely on him for the upcoming season.
