Ibrahima 1 Camara installed as new Kankan Prosecutor

Ibrahima 1 Camara has officially assumed his role as the new Prosecutor of the Republic at the Court of First Instance in Kankan, Guinea. The transition of power took place during a ceremony held at the Kankan Court of Appeal, attended by administrative, judicial, and military authorities, as well as local citizens.

Camara succeeds Fodé Bintou Keïta, who served as the head of the Kankan prosecutor's office for ten months. In his farewell remarks, Keïta expressed satisfaction with his tenure and noted the community's efforts in combating crime.

In his inaugural address, Camara emphasized a commitment to integrity, rigor, and transparency. He called for strengthened collaboration between various judicial actors—including magistrates, clerks, lawyers, and bailiffs—to ensure the efficiency of the justice system. Camara also stressed the importance of judicial transparency, quality service for citizens, and the timely processing of legal cases.
