Ica municipality launches domestic violence prevention campaigns

The provincial municipality of Ica is conducting prevention and awareness campaigns to combat domestic violence. Led by the Provincial Committee for Citizen Security (Coprosec) and the MAFVI 2026 team, the initiative focuses on helping women identify and address abusive situations.

Activities are held in the Plaza de Armas of Ica, where specialists provide guidance and talks. The campaign emphasizes that violence is never justified and encourages victims to seek help through established support networks, using the slogan “You deserve respect and a life without fear, break your silence.”
