ICAI announces January 2027 CA Foundation and Intermediate exam dates

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the examination schedule for the CA Foundation and Intermediate courses for January 2027.

The CA Foundation exams are scheduled for January 3, 5, 7, and 9, 2027. For the CA Intermediate level, Group I exams will be held on January 2, 4, and 6, while Group II exams will take place on January 8, 10, and 12. ICAI noted that the schedule will remain unchanged even if any examination day is declared a public holiday by central, state, or local governments.

Applications must be submitted online via the ICAI Self Service Portal starting November 3, 2026. The deadline to apply without a late fee is November 16, 2026, with a late fee option available until November 19, 2026. A correction window for changing examination cities or mediums will be open from November 20 to November 22, 2026.

Examinations will be conducted in India and at international centres in Bahrain, Dubai, and Kathmandu. Specific local timings apply for overseas centres to align with Indian Standard Time.
